Where are you located? Because, if you’re ever in the LA area, I owe you a beer.
I looked up some other threads on Soundflower. I went to the cycling74.com site, installed Soundflower and then uninstalled it. After a restart, MC booted up just fine.
Thanks for sending me in the right direction. Chalk another one up for the COW.

Thanks, Chris.
I had already searched for Stone Sour to no avail…”Through Glass” probably would have been smarter…
Yet, still, we have no idea how they really pulled this off. I sense an Andrew Kramer “I don’t know how they did this, but this one is close…” tutorial coming soon

So…tried it anyways.
FCP captures files as QT movies. I used the standard DV NTSC 48Hz to digitize the footage to a Firewire drive.
I plugged the FW into a PC running Avid, transferred the files to the computer, and then imported the files via Avid.
No problems at all — except that I had to rename each of the .mov files to include the “.mov” so that the PC would see them.
Thanks,

I find using masks to be the easiest.
Create a black layer with an add mask on it to create a mouth shape.
Record the mouth shape with a keyframe for mask shape, starting 1 minute or so in to the composition.
Hit the * key on your numeric keypad to make a comment. Double click on the triangle that appears and make a comment to help you remember the shape (i.e. TH F SS, etc.)
Move forward 1 second.
Repeat.
Then go back to where your audio starts and copy and paste keyframes to fit your audio. The masks will transition on their own. No Twixtor necessary.

NOT speaking from experience…but trying to help…
Couldn’t you use the sperm as a Custom Bubbles and guide the little fellas using a map?
