    Hello!

I have a image of an single spermcell with alpha channel, that i wish to multiply and swim around a bit, before it focuses on an object.. e.i an egg!!!!! and swims to that egg..

The cell count should be around 75-100, and they all need to swim in diffrent dirctions before going for the egg.. Have tried with diffrent particle emitors, and masks, but no luck

Any filters, tips etc on how to do this..

I know this is an AE copout since I don’t know expressions in AE. Have you tried it in a 3D app? It’s easy there. In Maya create a particle cloud. Have each particle attract to a goal (the egg). Create a user slider for the goal weight. Let them swim around, then animate the goal weight slider up when you’re ready and they’ll head in.

In C4D it’s even easier with the Xpresso tools.

I’m sure there will be some genius responses here soon.

Thanx… I sort of knew that a 3d app. would do the trick.
was actually hoping for a AE or motion filter… Looks like a C4D job.

make it as a particle in Particle Playground or Particular, then animate the final guy independently

NOT speaking from experience…but trying to help…

Couldn’t you use the sperm as a Custom Bubbles and guide the little fellas using a map?

In foam? You could, yes. That would quite possibly work.

C4d is probably gonna be better though, ’cause you can do 3d camera moves.
