check your feathering settings in Photoshop. It may be up a little high, and be giving you too much area around your matte. You said you could see the trim in Photoshop right?

    Thanks Mike P.

Yes, working on this is a pain, thankfully, it’s pretty simple. Just a wipe across and some flashing text.

Thanks for the tip on the AVI. I didn’t even think of just exporting the QT from the project window. I just looked at the Render Queue settings and didn’t see it there.

Yes, the DPI seems to be out of place. Not sure what that’s about. But after these posts, the other specs seem to be correct.

    Thanks again.

I guess I didn’t do the math. But 2 1/2 feet tall (or so) sounds about right.

Thanks for everyone’s input into this. It’s not the easiest thing to get thrown at 5 PM.

I’ll let everyone know how it turns out. Hopefully well…

    Steve,
Yes, that’s what I though about the DPI spec as well, which also made me a little suspect about some of the other settings. I guess I’ve never seen one up close, but that frame size seems a bit strange to me. Although I guess they’re different for every stadium.

Wow, thanks guys for all the info. Sorry, I should have told you my specs. Yes, I’m running AE 7.0 on a Mac G5 Dual 2 GHZ PowerPC with 3 GB of RAM.

So to make the AVI, I’ll need a PC? Or is there a program out there to convert it on a Mac?

“Go the Animaiton route at 96% – yeah, I’m old school. 😉
Once you’re on the PC, you can pick the uncompressed/None AVI CODEC”

Are you saying to make the QT with the animation setting? I don’t understand the 96% Sorry, I’m not old school, I’ve only been on AE a few months. 🙂 And what program on a PC should I use to create the AVI?

Yeah, I understand Broadcast can mean a lot of things. I was just wondering if Vegas could output a 720×486 hires quicktime. Sorry for my complete ignorance of the system.

Thanks for the tip. Believe me, if I was in charge of the checkbook, I’d be all saphire’d out. I’m just glad I’m not going crazy using this craptastic BCC Glow.

    thanks again.
