I’m creating a simple graph, and as the graph line increases, I want a number percent to increase as well. It doesn’t have to exactly reflect the value of the graph, i just want the numbers to increase from 0.00% to 3.99% as the graph moves along, indicating the numbers and graph are rising.

I know theres a way to do this, I feel like someone showed me how once, but, of course, I’ve forgotten since.

I know there’s an expression in the library for random numbers (I’m not very good with expressions yet), but it gives me like 14 digits and I have no control over it.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Just use the Numbers effect under Effect > Text > Numbers and set keyframes for the value.

    Hope that helps,

Here’s a nice Universal Counter from Dan, with complete controls over decimal places:

I tried using the Numbers effect but it seems to tap out at 30,000 and I was wondering if there was a way to add a comma.
