    Hi Bill,

We cut the GM drivers today for Premiere Pro 2 – It will be on the BMD support page tomorrow. It is a double headed installer so it works for 1.5 and 2.0

    Hi Oscar,

We just cut the GM today – so it will be posted tomorrow on the BMD support page. It is a double headed installer so you can use it for Premiere Pro 2.0 or 1.5.

And yes – there is full 10 bit rendering support in YUV and RGB in our drivers for Premiere Pro 2 straight out of the box.

    Cheers,

    Hey Olivier!

I am really pleased to hear that everything went well. I won’t tell Grant about the unit if you don’t (-:

BTW the installer on the website is newer than the one i sent you for the show. So update to that one before you try to break it.

    Hi John,

Multibridge Extreme went GM for MAC yesterday, PC is very close behind and we are hoping to get the PC version out next week – it is going through final QA as we speak (which takes 3-5 days)

    Shipments for MAC began today.

    Cheers,

    Hi Michael,

I pretty much agree with what you are saying. XP 64 is in our dev schedule for early next year. A great deal of time has been taken up recently with Multibridge Extreme but since we shipped yesterday – there are more resources that have been “released” which we can now allocate to new projects such as XP 64.

I will double check today but i am pretty sure we have put a fix in for your issue in the latest cut. If we have i’ll make sure we get it to you today, if not, we will build it in before we do another cut.

November 23, 2005 at 11:55 am in reply to: Full range HD-SDI Video with Decklink card possible?

    Romana,

I thought this was the Blackmagic forum? Not an advert space for RAVE HD!

And for what its worth, we dont touch any of the data. If you have full range levels coming in, they will be captured to disk. We verified this earlier this year when we were doing some testing at Panavision with their lead techs for a project we had been working on together.

It is only when anything is rendered, for example in FCP doing a dissolve between 2 clips, the levels in the dissolved part only get clipped. In fact we have the best of both worlds – With BMD FrameLink, you can turn all your DPX files into single QT files without duplicating the media – perfect for dirt removal or touchups and much easier to edit with that thousands of single DPX frames. It also works the other way around too, QT -> DPX

It works the same way on PC too, just in AVI instead of QT.
