Trouble with PremPro2.0
Anybody else having trouble installing PremPro2 regarding BMD settings and plugins finding their way into appropriate PremPro2 folders. After installing PP2, I reinstalled BMD drivers, etc., but the settings, etc. didn’t show up in PP.
I also tried to open a PP1.5 project in 2, but it could only open in the “Desktop” mode.
I assume BMD will issue updated drivers, etc. to correct this issue?
Any help much appreciated.

Hi Bill,
We cut the GM drivers today for Premiere Pro 2 – It will be on the BMD support page tomorrow. It is a double headed installer so it works for 1.5 and 2.0

Good deal. I am anxious to see how PP2 handles one of my large projects in which “Serious error…” crashing was rampant with 1.5. What a glorious thing that would be.

Well, this is perhaps the first time I’ve been accused of being brave, but I hope the courage (more likely mindlessness) shown by jumping into PPro2 right out of the gate proves worthwhile. I’ll post the results asap.

Look at the Premiere packaging. It looks like a dominoes setup that could topple very easily. It doesn’t elicit feelings of stability to me.
