Amen! Where do we send our request for this feature to be escalated in the list for next version. It would be so much more efficient.

Ok, it’s a FCP multiclip problem. The clips missing are part of multiclips that are way longer they they are (ex: a 2min clip in a 15min multiclip). So even if I collapse the XML tells Resolve it want a 15min clip but the clip in the media pool is just 2min.
All you have to do is create a MEDIA OFFLINE of your sequence with the Media Manager. Then export the XML form this new timeline.

Could it be that the file names are too long? Name in the “conform EDL” don’t match the clip.

October 22, 2011 at 2:18 pm in reply to: FEATURE REQUEST POLL :is anyone interested on Bigger UI for the Main Curves ?Yep, bigger curves would be good. I would also love background rendering just like Autodesk does with Lustre. While you work on shot1 they send shot2 to a slave PC that renders it. So by the time you are at the end of the show everything is rendered and without taxing your GPU for background rendering.

I use a Cinetal and a Sharp Aquos. Signal goes try a Cinatal Davio that has a calibration LUT for each display.
For calibration I use Cinespace (now THX) Cineprofiler and CineCube to create the LUTs. We found that the CENCORE OT probe works very well on LCD.
This way the Cinetal CineMage and the Sharp match at 95%.
But I have to say that I’m pretty impressed by the new broadcast plasma from Panasonic (eerie 300) and the Sony oled.

Could be. Resolve Lite supports roundtripping and is now updates to V8.1 so it should be able to handle FCPX XML. I can’t test it cause I have the full version on both of my macs. But keep me posted if you try it and it works

Actually since this morning there is a new way. You can send a project from FCP7 to FCPX thru DaVinci Resolve…and back. Here is the video tutorial I did.

Only the sound isn’t going through.
