October 5, 2011 at 2:08 am in reply to: Free DaVinci Resolve workshop available onlineHi guys,
the 3rd part of the workshop is now online. Giddy up for another 45min Resolve video with Patrick Inhofer. Feel free to donate on the Final Cut MTL first page. We do it for free but we still gotta pay our hard drives 😉 Ain’t Final Cut MTL the best FCP user group? Here is the link:

We just shot 3 days in freezing cold Quebec City at -30c by night and everything went A1. Even at the end of the russian arm while driving it holded up.

The real problem is that when you click the motion effect button in the composer with a clip without audio it pops the Motion Effect window but when the clip has audio it doesn’t.

Nattress is to be use with G Remove Pulldown. It’s to add the pulldown to a previously “unpulledowned” FX clip. It won’t add pulldown to a 23.98 native clip.
Well, here is an interesting feature request for the next release…

It’s gonna interlace but not add a pulldown. And the FieldsKit PullDown doesn’t seem to ba available anymore for FCP…or it’s not included in the Fieldskit bundle.
So no native FCP solutions?

Thanks Mr. Ross. The answer to my problem lies in a sky blue widget. Is this the right time and place to say: “Well…Avid those that so easily!”
Thanks again and I hope to see you in a dance off at the AJA party in 2011.
