I have a 1080p23.98 project running in MC5.0.1. We captured from a HDCAM SR in DNxHD32 with stereo audio. WHen we drop a clip in a sequence it is impossible to apply a motion effect. THe only way to do it is to recapture without the audio for clips with speed change. Is this a known issue? Is there another workaround?

The real problem is that when you click the motion effect button in the composer with a clip without audio it pops the Motion Effect window but when the clip has audio it doesn’t.

Not quite following ya. You’ll create motion effects in the source window unless using timewarp. You’ll have to play with audio seperatly as Avid aint where Premiere was a decade ago with that.
