If it’s not a corrupted file, then maybe the .wav file has some weird compression codec. I would try re-rendering as another .wav with the default template. Then try converting it to .wma.

I always use the Levels filter for exposure problems, but never knew how to use the Waveform monitor with it. This worked great on the sample I tried.

How nice to see you back here. I really enjoyed your article in Studio about the Grand Canyon shoot. We recently bought 2 Sony HVRV1U cameras for video production here in my shop at UW-Madison. They’re great.Back to book camp. No Parallels, just boot camp. Do you know what the “installation” issue is?

select your media file in the files window on the left.
In the media properties you should see tabs including “track media” and “End Action”.
Set the End Action Destination to the clip instead of the menu so it will start over when done.Mary Waitrovich

What worked is opening in QT pro and exporting as .mov which opened in Vegas.

lower the resolution to just as many px as you need to do any panning or zooming. As for batch processing, Photoshop can do it. Create an “action” then run the action on a folder or selected files.

The easiest way to get Flash output is to render your video in Vegas as a full DV quality avi file. Then open Flash 8 and import the video. Choose progressive download. Flash will convert to a .flv file played by the flash player. If your video is relatively short, this should work fine.

right click the clip. choose Switches>reduce interlace flicker. This should help. It also might help to render at “best” quality (choose this in custom rendering options).
