Thank you for your reply John. I’m having trouble finding the ultimate support email address on the site. The email addresses I see are the disabled ones. I have my original registration information and will send it if you can give me the address. my email is mwaitrovich at wisc.edu
Thanks!

Thanks Nigel,
I used to have an Ultimate SPro license a long time ago and I discovered it doesn’t work with Vegas 12, my current version. I was going to buy it again as it sounds really useful, but when I went to the Vaast website I encountered a number of problems that are making me hesitate before purchasing. Promotions link states 30% off all software titles with coupon code BLK30, but when I put that in the cart, it doesn’t register. They have an email link on the contact page for sales issues, but when I click the link, it just returns a browswer error. Given the state of the website, I’m reluctant to proceed for a $169 program. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks,Mary Waitrovich

It looks the “same amount” of fastness on DVD and in Vegas. When I put a 50% velocity envelope on it, the motion looks much more natural, but there is a LOT of flicker.

October 20, 2012 at 10:34 pm in reply to: Need to Build A New Computer – Suggestions? The SS boot drive is amazingly fast in starting Windows and opening applications. Rendering time also seems quite fast. I like it so much I am in the process of upgrading my MacBookPro to have a SSD and replacing the optical drive with the original hard drive. The removed optical drive will go into an enclosure to convert to an external drive for the few times I need to use a CD or DVD with the MacBookPro.

Thanks. I understand and agree about firewire. However, my machines still have it and I have used it extensively in my video work. Do you know of any usb 3 or thunderbolt audio interfaces? I was unable to find a usb 2 card with digital in. I might buy the m-audio Firewire 610.

I am considering buying this external sound card for this project:
F-CONTROL AUDIO FCA202
Audiophile 2 In/2 Out 24-Bit/96 kHz FireWire Audio Interface
https://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/FCA202.aspx
However, I have 64 bit Windows 7 and a review on Amazon suggests that this card will only work with 32 bit Windows 7.
Do you know if that’s true?
I used to have an M-Audio firewire sound card at a job where I worked and I loved it. Now I’m afraid to buy any used or older stuff for fear it won’t work with my 64 bit Windows 7 machine.
