Markers aren’t saved as chapters in rendered mpeg-2 file
Rendering in Vegas 12 with a bunch of markers on the timeline. MainConcept MPEG-2 DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream is the render format and yes I checked “Save project markers in rendered media file” under Metadata Options. However the chapter markers don’t show up in DVD Architect or on the burned DVD. Did I forget something? Is there some setting in DVD Architect to make this work?

Found it. In DVD Architect, I had to click the Load Markers button on the timeline and the markers all instantly showed up.
