  • problems with “vibrating” images

We are always wrestling with images that vibrate (or flicker) during a zoom or move. Files that have too much resolution seem to be the worst. We often lower the resolution and apply a gaussian blur to fix the problem.
It would be great to be able to fix all the images in some kind of batch routine.

Is anyone aware of a way to do this?

Even a sure fire step by step that could become an action would be good. (We could have interns do this)

Surely someone has a better way than the laborious processing we are currently doing.

    Thanks

[Larry Watts] “We often lower the resolution and apply a gaussian blur to fix the problem.”

    This is the typical method.

You could apply “Reduce Interlace Flicker” or add a blur effect to each. A really quick way is via a script.

lower the resolution to just as many px as you need to do any panning or zooming. As for batch processing, Photoshop can do it. Create an “action” then run the action on a folder or selected files.
