I don’t really get gestures either but I’ve been a big fan of Wacom tablets for years. The few times I’ve played around with gestures, I end up thinking “this is more effort and slower than than just using the keyboard”. Perhaps you do pick up speed if you use them all the time but I don’t see much incentive really.
Perhaps if you could jog through the frames with a circular motion then I might rethink.

Nope, you can’t step through fields in FCP. If you have After Effects, you could do it there.

Assuming you haven’t added any other audio filters to clips:
– Select the audio clips
– Choose Edit > Remove Attributes
– Make sure the Audio Attributes: Filters is enabled and click OKMartin

20 streams of DV is not a realistic expectation for multiclip editing. You might be able to do 20 streams with OfflineRT – use the Media Manager to recompress the entire project.

it’s been a long standing problem that the built-in text generators don’t handle font weights correctly. What’s worked for me in the past is if you only need one weight of a font then you can remove the others so FCP can’t use the wrong one. Alternatively use Boris Title 3D which works as expected.

Unfortunately not in the Keyframe Editor. Easiest thing is to set the overall scale value in the Inspector instead.
