Sure, you can see up to 4 views by using the View Layouts button at the top right of the Canvas.

Not a deal-killer for me, if you select the group, you still see the controls for moving and rotating it, but it is annoying I agree.

Personally I think 4 core would be okay but the best card is definitely the ATI Radeon 4870, the Quadro is not going to help you at all. Why don’t you want ATI? The ATI cards work better for Motion.

You only need to post the crash thread number, in this case, 0. Not that it helps here.
Try trashing your prefs:
1) Quit Motion.
2) Navigate to User/Library/Preferences.
3) Locate com.apple.motion.plist and delete it.If that doesn’t work tell us what kind of audio (format) and how you are adding it, and what version of motion and your machine specs (hardware and OS)

2) No one can say for sure but Steve Jobs has said that the next version of Final Cut Studio will be awesome and it has historically included significant upgrades to Motion
3) You need to look at how Motion templates can be used right inside of Final Cut Pro. This video may help:

Same way you import anything else into Final Cut – File > Import > Files for example. Just select the Motion project.
