I’ve actually got 120 video monitors in my video wall — 10 monitor width by 12 monitor length in a 1200 x 800 comp. Even after using the “secret menu” fix, I’m still having problems rendering. Does anyone know if I might have more success rendering “one row at a time” ie: turning off the visibility icon for all the monitors (other than one row) and rendering in this manner row by row, then re-importing the 12 rows and precomposing in order to create the finished wall. I would then put a camera move on the pre-comp in order to spice it up.
Finally, doees turning off the visibility icon for some layers allow AE to use less “juice” when rendering (ie turning off all of the icons accept for one row), or do I need to delete actually delete the layers? I’d try it myself right now, but I’m no longer at work.
Thanks to everyone who’s helped out thus far!
