  • AE 7 and adding a stroke to a mask…

    Hi Guys,

I’m trying to add a stroke to a mask shape and am having difficulty doing so. With AE 7 there are a million stroke effects, yet I can’t seem to find one that I can apply to a mask shape to add a “border”. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious.

    Thanks in advance.

You should be able to just go in Effects > Generate > Stroke and adjust from there. If you have multiple masks then check all masks.

For aborder around a mask that is the easiest way to do it.
