    I probably dont do this correctly but I created a 2 hot keys in preferences

    1 is created as the (~ or ` ) key this I mapped to “next cut”
    2 is created as the (1) key this i mapped as default transition(ex fade)

    now I just ~1 ~1 ~1 over and over, then flip the default trans when I want to do something else in massive amounts, You can edit 100 transitions via my method in 2mins no lie.

    note the positions of the ~ & 1 key
    set you work to video 1 for example then

    `1`1`1`1`1`1`1`1`1`1`1`1`1`1`1 look how many transitions i just created

    I might guess that you are not using PP 2.0 ?

    then maybe it is worth the investment and upgrade to PP 2.0 which has the multi-cam function. this alone might save more time, and of course then when you assemble, applying the transitions is only moments each.

    If you really dont want to move to a new version, and have some $$ united media multicam works really well.

    I shoot 10-12 weddings every season and about 2yrs ago I broke down and bought multicam for this sole reason. the day I installed the app, I saved so many hours in the basic edit. it was so noticeble. well worth the $$. Infact I still have it on one machine, and use it all the time.

    How about DV rack @ $150 and a mid grade laptop you can record to tape, and lptop at the same time and never stop the action

    Take the move to adobe production studio preminum, just today journeyed.com offered it for 600, now this is a bitof $$, but you get all the bundle, that works well together, same interface, just a nice product set, and will last for years.

    bite the bullet, take on a bit of debt and get this, I think after about 100hrs, youll be happy w/ the whole package, it all works together.

    Thanks for the feedback, and lucky me I did not shoot it, in fact when the client brought it to me, they had not even seen it before, they were a little disappointed whit the look. I’ll do as suggested.

  • Is it possible to do this in PP2.0 ? Im considering the upgrade,

    So again 10 clips in a row on video 1 can I apply a transition to all selected at one time in PP 2.0

    Or what program if any NLE can ?

    how about a laptop with serious magic DV rack 30 day free trail. A true NTSC monitor they claim, vector scopes and all the extras. Just need a mid grade laptop and one of those laptop sunshades, for about 30.00. I have had success with this product with SD video. Check seriousmagic.com for more info.
