April 6, 2006 at 3:16 amNo. You can’t. Not unless you use “Automate to Sequence” to put the clips on the sequence.
You can use the Page Down key to get to the cut and use Ctrl-d to put the default transition in.

April 6, 2006 at 6:22 pmYou could use the Effects Control window to set keyframes and opacity levels on the built-in opacity effect for the first clip, then save it as an opacity preset. You can just drag and drop the effect on to any clip, thereafter.

April 7, 2006 at 10:01 amPremPro 2 – No you cant.
BTW: By the time you have finished discussing it you could have done it.
Its an operation that only takes seconds for ten clips. ( I could do it it in less than 45 secs)

April 7, 2006 at 7:32 pmPretyy much the Page Down and Ctrl-D alternating can do one heck of a lot of transitions very quickly.

April 13, 2006 at 7:26 amFinal Cut can do this (w/drop zone thingie in comp window), but it’s not a feature per se.
Of course it doesn’t take much time in Premiere with shortcuts.
