Thanks for the heads up!
I would hate to do that to mine, too.

Sometimes my camera guy doesn’t white balance the camera and I get green images or blue images. Thankfully, I found areas of the image that were supposed to be white and black. So I used the droppers to select these areas and the rest came right into balance! Beautiful!

I agree with David! Flip4Mac WMV Studio Pro is the way to go, and it solves all of your problems. And here’s the real benefit – its cheaper and no additional programs to run!

[RJ] “WE have decided to rent a different player which has component and SDI output options.”
I know about budget, BUT have you considered purchasing the add-on boards for that machine. Panasonic lists them at $1500 for the analog component board and $2000 for the SDI option. Personally, I’d bite the bullet for the SDI option board and let your project pay for the cost of the board.

Thanks again, Walter!
One more question for you. You mentioned having troubles with the FXplug stuff. How did you remove this? I’m just curious if this is my problem and I do have a backup of my drive, so I feel comfortable in trying this.

Ok….
You’ve stumped me! But I am curious as to where you are putting your Scratch Disk. Is it on the same drive as your media? Or is it in a different location?

If you’re just doing one clip DVDs, why bother with a background and button? Just delete the menu and make your clip “First Play”. Simple.

Under User Preferences / Editing / Always Reconnect Externally Modified Files… Is that checked?
Secondly, it sounds as if something has corrupted your render files. I know this sounds like a lot of time, but have you gone into Render Manager and deleted your render files and then re-rendered everything?

Well, that’s very similar to what I am running. So, I guess I’m back to the drawing board….
Thanks for all of your help, Water. You have an awesome setup there! Great job on the shows, too!
Oh, by the way, we are using the TerraBlock 12D with 6TB of storage, and they recommend the ATTO FC-41ES card.
