Ok I have been to the archive site…. but each and every time I donwload 5.0 — going on 20 x I get the following error message:”An error has occurred while expanding the file “Decklink_Macintosh_v5.0.zip” (The archive may contain damaged content).

With no install option this then leaves me with the completely dysfunctional 5.01 and now a complete edit day lost…. 2,500 and counting.

….and another weirdness…. when I try to “remove Blackmagic” and then install 5.0 I get constant message that “decklink file has damaged content…” I have downloaded it several times with no success.

Geez…. installed update and all hell is breaking loose in FCP. No video and FCP will not stay open for 2 minutes before crashing. I’m just gonna pray I can get back…..

why would you want to? It doesn’t seem like HDV would be the way to archive. Why not HDcam if HD or Digibeta for SD?

I have this problem (title 3D crashing FCP) and I have the font Arial Black but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on the constant crashing. Am I missing something here?

Hey thanks guys…. my problem only seems to crop up when high speed shuttling through clips. They are all about 5 – 10 minutes in length. Digitized to internal sata via sonnet xsata 4×4. This has never given me any trouble with uncompressed but now with such a low data rate with HDV I just don’t understand.
