    Just kidding. It’s a waste of time except as a frustrating intellectual exercise.

    Anyone taking the time to research the “Next FCP Feature Requests” that have been posted over on LAFCPUG could find a ridiculously long list of missing fundamental features, dumb user interface quirks, sloppy performance issues and crippling technical bugs that have been ignored (or added) since v1.0.
    Much like Media 100 and Avid before them, it is the Apple marketing dept. driving developments while systematically ignoring current and future customer needs.

    Gosh, I still like this application suite, though. Go figure.

    Dose FCP 5 have an abort function??
    You know when you are capturing you can abort the clip and move to the next one>????

    That aborts the batch, but doesn’t skip the item I don’t think, unless it’s changed.

    Be able to type in log info while capturing… I loved this feature in AVID.
