Since you invested in the production studio, why are you even bothering to render in After Effects ??? Use the dynamic link and let Premiere take care of the rendering. If your project is setp up as HD in Premiere, then it will make sure that the project is rendered correctly.

The dynamic link is simplay awesome. Do yourself a favour and get to know how it works, I guarantee you that you will be awestruck by the new creative possiblities that it brings.

The numbers filter has to be added to a layer, then precomp that layer moving all attributes to the new comp. You can now mask the comp

To remove the shift, there is a setting that is called proportional spacing (near the bottom of the filter), remove it and adjust the tracking to make sure that numbers are properly spaced.

What is the comp size, what is the final file size, is there audio ? Do you have other processes, such as Anti-virus running in the background, what is your graphics hard etc, etc,

I would love to help, but this really is a hard question to answer without more specifics.

Also, in your question you say you render to AVI as it suggests…what or who suggests ???? I am on windows, but still always render out to Quicktime. I have had issues with AVI and my editor (inverted colors etc).

Change the replace method to source (this option is only seen if you twirl down the screen matte options). You may noow see some color on the edges, use the splill suppresor, or soften your edges and shrink the matte (use the screen grow with a negative value).

I agree 150% with Grinner…It all goes on feeling. Even though I work at a Broadcast facility with the audio post and graphics dep’t, usually we are in such a rush that I become a one man show. I need to get things done quickly. You wouldn’t belive the amount of work that I have to do in a day….and it has to get done.

Usually I will listen to the cuts and pick the cleanest sound. I will try to add some ambient if I think it is necessary. It depends if music is being used, and also if the ambient sound is more distracting than anything else.

    Lots of time 🙂

A good particle generator such as particular, motion tracking, 3d stroke, and again, lots of time….. Some of the elements seem quite easy, some would require some rotoscoping and serious 3d compositing. You see that when the magazines are in the had that the movement doesn’t match perfectly…I like it that way, kind of looks more crazy.
