I received an answer………

There are no certified solutions for Liquid on a network at this time. However, we do have many happy customers working on networks like several news stations in LA that are using Rorke Image SAN for example. Best bet according to the product Manager for Liquid……….. . Recommendations and Support should be provided by your dealer/system integrator.

What happens if you just playback video? what happens if you playback audio? do they stutter by themselves? Or only when you playback both?

What is your drive config. and are the drives full/fragmented?

Did you know about the promotional upgrade? It is a really cool offer for Adobe Premiere owners. Looks like until March 24th you can get Avid Liquid Pro for the same upgrade price as Avid customers and there is a $200 mail in rebate as well ( US only). Pretty nice way to round out your editing tools.

BTW… we are currently shipping Xpress Pro 4.8.2 on the download center. Xpress Pro 4.x customers can download it free if registered with Avid. Contains a bunches of fixes and improvements and you can search for the readme files on the KB as well.

what are you doing when the error occurs? If editing, what is in the sequence?

I know that if you splice tone to the head of a sequence you get the error: Insufficient Media to make the edit. You can try Overwriting instead of Splicing as Overwriting will successfully edit the tone media into the sequence.

Not knowing what you are doing… this is the best I can advise.

Just make sure you read the special Install Instructions that accompany the download. Please be aware that you must adhere to these instructions prior to connecting a Mojo or Adrenaline with Xpress Pro v4.8.2 or MCA v1.8.2 to the newer models of G5.
