I installed a new sound card and it works perfectly except for the fact that I can’t star Avid no more. I get a message that they are unsupported audio options in my system and I can proceed with no audio or I can quit. When I proceed without audio I get a message saying EXCEPTION:ADM_DEVPART_NOSUPPORT anybody who knows what the heck is goin’ on and what I can do about it?

Definitely sounds like you downgraded to unsupported hardware! Was your system not working? If it worked, put everything back the way it was and enjoy.

I have a AVID Express Pro 5. And my soundcard is EMU 0404. I just installed the latest drivers for it.
