    Flamethrower Timeout

    Hi All,

    I keep receiving a flamethrower timeout error using xpress pro 4.6.7 on my G5. When I try to playback my sequence the audio and video will stutter and then eventually the error message pops up. I have tried many possible solutions:

    -updated software
    -uninstall and reinstall software
    -replaced pci card
    -replaced firewire going to Mojo
    -cycled power on Mojo
    -rebuilt directories on my firewire drives

    If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

    Brian……… searching is your friend. Go to the Knowledge base on avid.com and you will find information on this error. For example…..

    BTW… we are currently shipping Xpress Pro 4.8.2 on the download center. Xpress Pro 4.x customers can download it free if registered with Avid. Contains a bunches of fixes and improvements and you can search for the readme files on the KB as well.
