If you got PCIe then Intensity Pro would also be interesting
as it is cheaper a bit 🙂 but then you lose SDI.

    Hi.

I do not know if G5 had PCIe but if it had then
DeckLink HD Extreme would be nice thing with component in and out. I have SD version and it is great.

    Hi.

We also make 2x hdd copy’s on sata with all the project files.
Before making back up i make mjpg files out of original uncompressed. It saves space and is later accessible as original would be.

Generally we do not charge for that but when client orders changes then charge is a part of total cost.
Other way to charge is when we make tapes dvd etc. from hdd copy.
Generally it may take up to 1 hour to make those copy’s so
now i started to make one hour flat cost + tapes.

    Hi.

I’d try to make some elements not visible when not seen on the
camera. It deffinetly have helped me with combustion as it uses ram pretty much the same way. So if you make layers not visible if they are longer in time than the whole clip or they do not show at that current time then you might get more done even wit little ram.

    Hi again.

One thing that i came up with is that HD Link lets you use LUT
which multibridge Pro do not let you do or do i missunderestand again :)?

    Hi.

Generally i have Sony CRT TV (yes not pro monitor)hooked on my Beta SP so i can see interlaced if needed. Larger display or TV is intended for client to see from a little distance. My question is if i should go with
lower rez display instead on HD one?
