I’m just geting myself new Multibridge and MAC and have the same question. But in the other hand i do have much faith in BM that if they do not support it now i hope they will have it in next driver update. All other stuff AE and Combustion are supported and i do not see that Color is something really special in that sence.

If one drive fails there is no way to get it up and running!
With raid you have a shot if you do not mess up rebuild 🙂
If you mess it up then there is no way again 🙂Just gate external sata capable of RAID 5 with decent manager like CalDigit units have.

I’d take tone and bar files from BM website and output this and import / capture again and compare them and there you should see if your cables etc makes tricks.

It is normal to get about up to 10x lower rate than with uncompressed if i do not imagine stuff here :). I use it all the time and works perfectly. This MJPG JPG i think differs from pc to mac as i.Link and FireWire but the inner stuff is the same i think. So if the data rate is about 2x times DV rate then it is fine i guess. What i like is that MJPG still gives you 4:2:2. I hope i got my facts right here.

Can this MacDrive read Mac drives over network also ?
I plan to hook up my old pc with KMV to my new mac monitor so
i could use my old files and copy between mac and pc.

I think it is possible to mix them.
I do not know how fcp sees them on time line as if one of them
has red bar and has to be rendered but generally you should get mixed edit easy.If you work with lets say JPEG EasySetup then you should have RT but as i do not have mac yet it is hard for me to tell 🙂
