    Hi Erik

Yeah i tried to auto trace all of the scans on by one. they looked much stronger and crispier, but they just went crap again in AE. I dont know what the problem could be. my previous projects were all drawn in illustrator and imported nicely in AE, there was no probs, but as soon as i touched a pencil i came across the biggest nightmare ever:) PDF exports look the best of all the options. i think i will have to stick with those.

    Cheers

    Hello Guys

Thanks very much for the suggestions. In the meantime i figured out that pdf files exported from illustrator seem to be the best option, i can even rasterize them in AE(it still goes pixellated at zomm 200% tho, but it is ok). the only thing is that every single adjustment i make needs seconds to render as you said.

    Cheers

    Dear Yikesmikes

thanks for your quick reply. yeah i thought of duplicating layers as well but i did not know how effective they would have been. ill try that way anyway. cheers again.

    Hi Dave

Thanks for your reply. Yes i tried to drag the keyframes up and down, but it did not seem to do anything at all so i ended up editing my audio using Audiacity which is an excellent program, cheers!!

    Hello

Thanks Guys for all the info. Yeah i have looked at Aharon’s tutorial which is very impressive to me also very simple. I have looked at a pre-composing tutorial as well but i would be interested in the method of transitioning that you suggested me try earlier.

    Hi Mylenium

Yeah, after i had seen a morphing tutorial i thought that i was not gonna need to find a simplier way to execute the effect. Transitioning is the solution as you sad.
Id like to ask you if this stuff works like placing layers on top of each other as usual ( i will need a couple of more layers beside the mattes), so the only thing i will need to do is cut outs. One more question: What if the bird is already animated and flapping its wings? Do i need to have frame by frame cut outs?

    Thanks

Thanks for your quick reply and help. Yeah i could improve the quality a little but its still not good enough. I wonder if there is something to adjust beforehand in illustrator.
