@Sascha I would be interested in ProRes4444->Dnxhd36, and Dnxhd185x->Dnxhd 185x. Would be great if you could test those two. Thanks!!
@Mike Yes I get that, I thought of using the machine I have now for doing some rendering. But is there a better, more efficient way then copying the project file to the other machine, relinking/copying the media (if the media is not on a network) and start the render there?
Because I’ll be getting the media on a 4drive Raid and want to work from it and render then to the network.

sorry I meant how many fps the different cpus would give me for rendering. at the moment I get about 18fps when rendering dnxhd->dnxhd.
I want to have more than realtime when rendering, so I can spend more time grading and less time rendering…Lee

October 12, 2011 at 11:31 am in reply to: Anyone experience decreased performance with DNxHD?Yes I’m experiencing the same problem with Dnxhd 185x. Its quite frustrating with clients in the room when I also want to playback audio…
I’d like to know what to upgrade, is this a cpu or gpu problem?

September 23, 2011 at 8:04 am in reply to: FEATURE REQUEST POLL :is anyone interested on Bigger UI for the Main Curves ?Yes restraining lift gamma gain would be very nice!
But bigger curves are also on my list, I almost never use them because I get frustrated with this fiddling around… 😉Best

Thanks, I’ll try it with the new mixer tool. I didn’t thought of that…
I know that the temp/tint slider is normally used for raw files like r3d or canon cr2 files in lightroom but In Iridas Speedgrade I’ve used them all the time on non raw files either and they worked great…

I’m doing nothing special, I select the avidMediaFiles folder where all the media from the sequence is and import it in to Resolve. The media is all there, but when I load the EDL in the Conform page, nothing works, it seems like it’s having trouble with the file names!?
Because the timecode seems to work, but Resolve takes almost always the wrong clip.Hope anyone knows an answer to that, because it would be a great workflow to not have to make a videomixdown everytime and then edit the EDL to get a proper timeline.
