  • DaVinci + Wave Panel = Jog Shuttle Problem

    Hey together,

    i use DaVinci V 8.0.1. + Wave Panel on a Mac Pro 2×2,26 GHz Quad-Core, 12 GB 1066 MHz, Lion.
The simple problem is: The Jog Shuttle is not working fluently, i got a slow, bucking video “running”.
    Any suggestions?

    Cheers,
    David

What kind of media material? Is the Wave directly connected to the Mac-Pro or through a hub? My Wave is pretty smooth….

it’s a .mov (pro res HQ encoded) i grade on, but the problem exists with any material. the wave is connected to the mac directly.

I’ve the same problem as David. Its connected via usb hub, but everything else works as expected, just the shuttle control…
This happens on every media material.

    Yep, everyone agrees.
I can framestep faster with the cursor keys than the Wave(or the big panel) jogs.
It feels very digital and jumpy.
Wonder if they could speed it up one day.
