We do provide a video desktop output which will extend your system’s desktop. However, it is not a full fledge “graphics card”.

Yes, HDLink looks at the framerate reported back by the display via EDID and adapts accordingly. This includes adding pulldown to a 23.98 signal in order to fit it to a 60Hz display.

Hi Patrick,

There’s a bug right now and where more than 2GB of RAM will crash your Mac Pro when using the DeckLink Extreme PCIe or SP PCIe. We’re working on it right now. As a temporary workaround, you’ll need to limit the amount of RAM in your Mac Pro to 2 GB.

Hi guys,

The drivers were tested on Vista inhouse on multiple systems before they were released and the issues reported were not seen. I would like to work through these issues to find out what exactly is going on.

The only thing to note is that in Vista, there is currently no Extended Desktop support so no additional display will be detected.
