HI,

The Multibridge Pro has up conversion on capture. This is software and will work only if the unit is in capture / playback mode, i.e. connected to your Mac via PCIe.

It will also work with Color. All applications such as Color, Final Cut Pro, Motion etc use standard Quicktime devices for output. Multibridge Pro is one of these devices so it will work.

Hi,

Yes, we do have a cable replacement option. In instances like this, it’s highly probably that the cable is faulty, however, it’s also possible that the connector on the card is bad. I would recommend swapping out both card and cable. Support should get back to you about this. I’ll check what’s going on.

Hi,

No it’s not recommended. It’s akin to yanking out a PCIe card from your Mac Pro while it’s on. Your Mac will hang.

Vegas support is still in beta. Insert is meant to be one of the features but it’s not quite ready.

If you have any general questions, you can also contact us via the support website. It’s fine even if you don’t have a DeckLink card as yet.

Which specific Decklink card you have?

What firmware is your D5 on?
