  • This is correct. As long as your monitor supports 1920×1080 or 1920×1200, you can run all 6 displays. If your monitor has a minimum of 1280×800, you can run the 2-Up view.

    Hi Callum,

What format or codec are you capturing to? It looks like you’re capturing to a single hard disk and if you’re capturing uncompressd video, the hard disk will nt be fast enough to sustain the capture. Best bet is to try capturing using the MJPEG codec and see if that captures smoothly.

    Hi Andre,

This is n longe necessary as Apple’s uncompressd codec now supports the right HD colorspace. We have not been using or including the Blackmagic 2vuy in our installers for quite some time now.

    Hi,

You’ll need to use one of the current range of DeckLink cards in order to use the Linux drivers. The DeckLink SDI card is a cost effective SDI / HD-SDI capture solution for Linux.

  • Hi Derek,

Will you be able to try Media Express 2.0.3? That has a smaller interface.

    Hi Leo,

Maybe it’s a case of a bad card where the HDMI output is faulty? I suggest speaking to your reseller and organising a swap.

    Hi,

Currently, the MPJEG quality settings cannot be changed. However, the quality should be very good. Maybe it’s worth double checking to see if you have any other codec packs installed on your system. There’s a chance the wrong codec is used due to a conflict.

You need to go into the Capture tab and you will be able to preview incoming video from the deck. Make sure you switch to the right video format settings in the Preferences as well.

    Hi Chad,

Try using the 720p59.94 8-bit output and see what happens. 720p SDI runs at 720p50 or 720p59.94.
