Media Express 2 resolution requirement
Posted by Robin on March 1, 2010 at 10:07 amHi,
Am I the only one who wishes that Media Express works in resolutions other than 1920×1080? Great app to use but my screens only have 1400×900 resolution. Blackmagic please make the interface scalable. I don’t wanna resort to buying a screen just so that I can use this interface instead of FCP.

March 2, 2010 at 4:51 amYeah, I doubt we’ll see any improvements anytime soon. I read a post that was dated October 2009 that stated “a new version without fixed resolution will be coming very soon”…
I’m still waiting for “very soon” to get here.

March 9, 2010 at 6:09 amhow much time you need to add a little function – changing the size of the interface – month, year, 10 years? Is it really so hard to do?
you promised it back in October 2009, then promised to add in the next version of the program, but the version is 2.0.2 and the ability resize still does not -

March 11, 2010 at 11:12 pmHi,
I’m happy to inform you that 2.03 is now available for download from our website and Media Express will now support 1280×800 or better screen resolution. Please check it out and let us know your thoughts.

March 14, 2010 at 11:12 pmYou need to go into the Capture tab and you will be able to preview incoming video from the deck. Make sure you switch to the right video format settings in the Preferences as well.
