Hi Themi,
We have some positive reports from other customers about the P67 motherboards with the Renesas NEC host controllers so there’s a high chance it will work.

Hi Alex,
I’m not too sure about the Asus monitor as it used the Nvidia 3D system.
However, any of the 3D capable plasma/LCDs out there will work as they either support side by side 3D or frame packed 3D via HDMI 1.4a, both which the HDLink will output.

April 29, 2011 at 12:14 pm in reply to: Intensity Pro in MacPro3,1 problems (black screen)Hi,
No, you don’t need a HDMI output to see the input.
There are a few things you need to check.
1. Does the Video project settings in Media Express’ Preferences match your input format?
2. Open up the Blackmagic preferences and check if the input is set correctly. For example, if you’re capturing HDMI, make sure Input is set to HDMI.
3. If you’re using the PS3, then you cannot capture via HDMI as the HDMI output of the PS3 is always encrypted.

Hi,
[Paolo Castellano] “What is? Do the HyperDeck (Shuttle and Studio) require a cartridge in order to use the SSDs?
“No, you do not need any kind of cases or adapters to use SSDs in the HyperDeck recorders. These are just covers to store your SSDs 🙂 We figured you’ll need them as SSDs will become the tapes for the 21st century!

March 22, 2011 at 12:53 am in reply to: 10 bit signal through HDLINK PRO DVI / DISPLAYPORT?[Neil Sadwelkar] “When you say “will be capable of” does that mean it cannot output 10bit now but will do so in the future?
“It will do so now.
[Neil Sadwelkar] “Also, since you singled out the HDLink Pro 3D DisplayPort, does that mean that the HDLink Pro DVI is restricted to 8-bit (DVI is restricted to 8-bit?)”
Yes. HDLink Pro DVI is 8-bits when you use HDMI or DVI-D.

[Jerome Thelia] “Hi, I need to be able to capture frame-packed 3D video coming off a Sony 3D Handycam with HDMI out. Looks like that’s possible on the Decklink Extreme. Is it also possible on the Intensity Shuttle? Thanks- Jerome”
Hi,
This is only supported on the HD Extreme 3D. Intensity Shuttle does not support 3D captures.
