    Hmm, no further reply.

So all you fsi- and dreamcolor-user have purchased at ‘Light Illusion’?
Or are you not interrested in checking the XYZ-results – maybe I miss something??

    Hi Florian,

as I understand it (color) it is not enough to calibrate with an achromatic pattern, because this lets you not now anything abaout saturation. Or in other words: changing saturation would not affect the results of your calibration but chromatic images would look different!

    Hi,

In a company I worke for, I have seen a PVM-2541 (I assume no difference than size), which matched perfectly (for our eyes :)) rec709.
We were impressed with its picture compared to a BVM-L231 which stood beside. The BVM was calibrated to 709 with a Minolta cs-200.

They told me that the service that calibrated the BVM hadn’t had success with calibrating the OLED. The visible result was useless!
They simply copied the D65-preset to the user-preset (the result was far better, but not close to the BVM) and after that they had matched (adjusting gain and bias, same way as adjusting a crt) the pvm by eye, comparing to the BVM.

I am not an expert to colormeter. But I guess that the 40 sensors of the cs-200 can not resolve correctly the small OLED emission bandwith.

Well, would be grart to heare, how to earn 100 GBP (=120 €)in no time 🙂

I assumed that this is a very common lut, so that it would be a 5 min copy&paste job for them.
And I’am far far away from earning 120€ in 5 min 🙂

Anyway if there is no better deal I will order…

    Hi,

Have you tried the D65-preset, is the green there still present?

Ok, grading on a Christie for cinema is certainly a good way but unfortunately not an option for me now.

Anyone else with good experience using either the rgb2xyz-lut from resolve or the lut from this thread:
    https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/277/5053
    ?
Is there any thing else to do, or could I expect to see ‘more or less’ the picture I graded in 709?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You might count brown as a dark version of yellow 🙂
So what to do is: simply ad luminance!

    Thanks Ola.
Do you use the rgbXYZ-lut delivered with resolve? Without any further correction?
What do you think about the lut from Oyvind?
This lut gives a little gamma-lift compared to the resolve-lut, which may compensate the lower brightness of the projection.

    [Andrzej Tomczak] “BM is 9.0
    CUDA 4.0.50”

The config guide clearly says that you should NOT install any driver for decklink! The resolve installer will install a special driver!
    Required cuda version is 4.0.19!

    regards
