    Thx for reply.

I decided to go to 10.9.5 and it seems resolve and gtx 780/6GB are running fine.

There are still a few users with a signature telling they are on 10.8.5 and running a gtx780/3GB. So I had hopped that it’s possible with the 6GB version.

Yes, easy to use in resolve.
Follow the manual and advise from cinegrain.

Simply append a number at the end of filename. So resolve will recognise the file as a part of an image sequence 🙂

    Well, in this case: https://www.filmlight.ltd.uk/store/fl_product/baselight-for-avid/
    could help you out 🙂
I like resolve pretty much, but I think it’s worth to have a look at this plugin.

    My wishes:

+ sync gui with 3rd-party controler (wave etc)

+ please make the viewer window moveable to an other screen (like scopes) or let me use the grading-monitor as viewer

+ short cuts for direct access to nodes (by numbers)

+ more shapes/powerwindows per node and merge functions (nodetree becomes less messed with keymixers etc), option to add curvepoints to circle-window

    + 3d-keyer

+ more options on top of the tabs instead of content menue
e.g.: direct reset button instead of clicking menue icon and then selecting reset, direct choose of curvetools

Please don’t understand it as a complaint. Great job done yet bm-team!

I see the same issue 🙁
+ a few other greyed out menu options, which don’t bother me that way.
I noticed that menu options greyd out, if the adressed action is not possible. But if I can set the keyframes with right mouseclick, it should be possible to do that with existing short cuts as well.Or do I miss something?

    systemspecs:

    V9 beta2 (full version)
    OSX 10.7.4
    MP 4.1 , 8 cores 2,66
    12 GB ram
    GUI: GT 120
GPU: gtx 570 (2,5 GB), latest drivers (cuda+card)
    Video: extreme 3d+
    tangent wave, G13

Maybe it’s worth to upgrade to OSX 10.8?
Anyone with that issue under OSX 10.8?

    Thx

[Nikola Stefanovic] “Do i need to crash record on tape timecode similar to first clip source timecode in power mastering timeline first?”

    Yes!

First edit on tape is only with crashrecord possible!
Set desired tc in internal+ preset+rec run mode.

I forgot to bespeak that I never have done that with decklink (only vtr to vtr, or with controller).
So first thing to check is, if the decklink is able to act as a player (slave) with externel master (vtr).
If not: rp188 + crash record on vtr is the way.

    Hi,

if I remember rightly the option ‘externe TC’ switches to the analog ‘extern TC-in’ of the VTR, but so far I see, the Decklink does not provide TC-out.
Switch to RP-188 is the option to get the embedded TC from source (but I fear the pvw-500 doesn’t provide it)

Other easy (but more time consumption) way is to set the VTR-TC to intern preset. Record black + TC to tape (crashrecord, set TC to preset + rec-run), then use the RS-422 deckcontrol for TC-exact edit (insert-mode, video + audio).
Or use assemble-mode on VTR with deckcontrol, first record with crashrecord to desired TC (switch TC-mode to preset + record-run) then switch to regen + free-run and edit your source to tape.
