i want to use a still (tif) as background for a greenscreen key.
thought i just place it in V1 and put my footage above it in V2 and then key V2..

but how do i change the background clip duration from single frame to an x-amount of time? could not find a way during import, nor in media pool or conform page.

sorry for such a basic question – cheers

No still images or freeze frames in resolve yet

Simply append a number at the end of filename. So resolve will recognise the file as a part of an image sequence 🙂

    Hi,

You should add the tif file to media pool, and then drop it in timeline, change the speed to 0fps, and then you can stretch it out.

If you are not on 9.0.3, you will need to rename the file to add a number at the end (before the extension).

Rohit – is this a new option? how about stills in an fcp xml? will it work with jpeg too?
