First of all, White type on a black background is tough to pull off.
Knowing that:Lower the brightness on the white color to 90%
Click the 1:2:1 De-Flicker checkbox.
Use a greater point value than 24
Increase or decrease the speed slightly by lengthening or shortening the clip.Good luck.

Also helpful is changing the anchor point to the subject on the picture you want to zoom into. It’s not always cool to zoom in and out on the center of a picture. In fact, most of the time it isn’t.
Changing the anchor point for doing motion graphics is probably the #1 thing that can improve the look of any photo montage that most novices never think to do.

Try putting the new color correction on a separate layer, isolate the hand with a garbage matte.

Markyy is correct. You need a DV deck or DV Camcorder to do this properly. You don’t want to use the output of your video card, unless it’s a high quality video capture card, which the ATI is not.

You should still use one so you can see the final product of your encoded project. The Canvas won’t show you that, no matter how you are finishing.

Most people wrongly avoid optimizing their images in Photoshop. Overkill in DPI and frame size will kill ya every time. I agree with Chris. Adjust your image by frame size at 72 DPI. Want to zoom? Just make the frame size 2 or 3x the size of the native frame of DV, SD or HD, all at 72 DPI.

Hmmm….just like Soundtrack Pro. So, here’s yet another case for individually batch capturing your clips rather than capturing tape rolls.
If you can’t log and batch capture your clips, you might try exporting the section you want to adjust in Peak in QT, then reimport and do a Replace Edit.
