Hi Steven,
Creating subclips from a merged clip should be fixed in version 7.2 or later. Which version are you using? Thanks,

Hi Jim,
Load the clip into the Source Monitor. Check your Timeline. Is your Timeline patched correctly? If so, try it again. If not, patch it correctly, then drag/drop.Thanks,

Hello Daniel,
[Daniel Skrobowski] “Kevin, when was the 6.0.5 update released?”
August 14, 2013: https://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2013/08/premiere-pro-cs6-6-0-4-update.html
[Daniel Skrobowski] “And do you know for how long Adobe will be “fixing bugs” for the CS6 products?”
The official word is, “We plan to sell Creative Suite 6 for use on supported platforms indefinitely.” See this FAQ: https://www.adobe.com/products/cs6/faq.html
Thanks,

Hi Daniel,
We have stated in the past that we will only be fixing bugs for Premiere Pro CS6. No new features are to be created. I’m not precisely sure what you mean by “stability updates” but you can see the kind of fixes we’ve done by inspecting the 6.0.4/6.0.5 release notes: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/premiere-pro-cs6-604-605.htmlHope that helps.

Hi Cody,
I’m seeing this in one other case on the Adobe forums. I will see if I can find a way to replicate the issue.
So you’re using .MTS footage on Premiere Pro CC 2014 on Windows. If you can give me more details, please do.Which version of Windows?
What are your system details (including RAM, CPU and GPU)?
Which camera did the .MTS file originate from?
What kind of masking were you trying to do?
Does it work on other formats?
Does it work in a new project? Thanks,

[Franz Bieberkopf] “Personally I just haven’t read or heard much about how robust the software is on a large project – by which I mean thousands of clips, hundreds of sequences, over many months.”
We are testing projects in house with tens of thousands of clips. It’s looking very good for large, complex projects. Thanks for your concern.
Cheers,
