While it’s true that it was EOL’d. You can still upgrade from XDV v1 to XpressPro…

If that’s the case, then in your Settings (I believe under Timeline) you need to uncheck “Show Marked Waveforms”.

If you do that, then you will see Sample Plot regardless of whether or not you have I/O’s marked.

You need to check out https://www.watchingme.com/software_mc.aspx

I believe it may be PC only though, but a damn fine tool for calculating GB/res requirements.
all I get is either black or some kind of disturbance, wavy what ever
What you’re describing kind of sounds like it you may be viewing PAL footage in an NTSC project, or vice versa. I know that whenever I feed a PAL signal to our Adrenaline in an NTSC project it does just that.

February 12, 2007 at 12:47 pm in reply to: AE blending modes into Avid?

Thanks… I’ll toy with those suggestions and get back to you.

What I may end up doing is bringing in the video section that the title is going to run over and make a single comp of the whole thing. That way, I’m dealing with footage under the graphic. (which is what I was thinking could’ve been the problem)

    Thanks for the reply.

December 31, 2006 at 7:17 am in reply to: How can I deselect all Tracks?

There’s also “Cycle Picture/Sound” which in three taps of the button will deselect the tracks.

But CTRL+SHIFT+A is the most common and easiest.

October 25, 2006 at 9:59 pm in reply to: Tony Scott style editing?

Is there a tutorial to play guitar like Neil Young? No? I didn’t think so.

Editing is an ART and to be an artist, you have to find your own “voice”. Being inspired by and emulating a style is one thing, but to ask for a “paint by numbers” tutorial says to me that you’re not being creative, you’re just being a Xerox. What I would do, is study the style, then start editing when you’re brimming with inspiration. From that will be born *your* style.

And I don’t know who Tony Scott is either.

The post below this (at time of reply) is virtually asking the same question.

You have to “nest” the effects, Look up “Nesting” in the Help/Manual for more info.

October 25, 2006 at 7:00 pm in reply to: a bug

It’s probably not a bug, it’s more likely that your video card does not support OpenGL. Which video card are you using.

As a test, try launching while holding down the L and O keys.
