    Hi,
    can anyone please help?
    While starting up avid express pro on Windows xp I get the error message:
    Access violation at 0x00000004 . It comes up while avid Initializing open GL effects. Have to terminate the program.

    What’s wrong and how can I fix the problem?

    It’s probably not a bug, it’s more likely that your video card does not support OpenGL. Which video card are you using.

    As a test, try launching while holding down the L and O keys.
