Thanks for Twixtor link – was interested until I saw the price, just for slo/fast mo?!

Thanks for Motion reference, will try…

No fast shutter speed, but I know what you mean…If I still have trouble, maybe I’ll post the 10 sec clip online Tuesday to show the issue…thanks for replies…

    Thanks Colin

Yeah, I’ve tried the Time Remap as well as right click on the clip, select speed, type in 80%…with frame blending on it has pulsating lines, with it off no pulsating but choppy, stuttery movement…the smooth in Time remap is OK but doesn’t really work for the shot in question.

I just wonder how to make the pan slow at 80% but clean., no frame blending (would be ideal) and yet smooth pan/movement…I’ll keep playing with the Time remap, but any thoughts welcome.

Interesting link, Gary – so I have a Sennheiser ew 100 G2 wireless transmitter/receiver with XLR…I’d like to record straight to FCP VO tool “to picture” using in and out points (I still need to read how to do so)…but which device would be best for my scenario? Lightsnake or MicPort Pro?

    Thanks

Along these lines – how does one record to picture in FCP 6? Just use that snakelight, turn off audio monitoring (volume) and record at in and out points?

    Never done it, just curious…

    Thanks

Thanks very much for the reply and tutorials – so I take it I would just add many layers and various key frames in FCP to make the mattes move as the original link I inquired about…
