NewBlue Titler Pro 2 is only offered as a upgrade to the free titler 1 that comes with Vegas Pro 12. The upgrade is $99 dollars to Vegas Pro 12 owners only. It gives you bevels,lighting and you can now put video files instead of a texture into the font. They also toss in Light Blends with the upgrade.

I have been using it and it is pretty stable.. a few crashes when creating files but… I have already paid it off with work so it’s worth it… I also upgraded to NEWBLUE Titler Pro 2 and it is pretty stable too. I like the idea of creating custom bevels…

It would be nice if they added the create to flash feature that Adobe has in Encore.

I think Newblue helped me out with the Titler to get it to work…so far.. They recommend that you reboot before you install Titler because if you have opened Vegas just once and shut it down there is still some part of Vegas running. When I followed their directions unistall the old version of titler,reboot then re-installed Titler Pro it seems to have fixed all of the issues.

Sorry John but I must disagree with your statement you can’t run osx on a pc. I am running Snow Leopard and Windows 7 on my HP Laptop. Flawlessly. and I have a homebuild PC hackintosh running the same. It is easier than ever to do this. You should check out youtube.

It would be all.mov xdcam ,apple hdv and apple intermediate codecs.
xdcam is ingested into final cut 7 using the log and capture and it is
converted to prores or apple xdcam.mov before it is put into the timeline. ****I did do a test and although quicktime cannot play the files you can input the .mov xdcam files into Premiere CS6 on the PC and they will play but only in Premiere and AfterEffects.CS6. Don’t know about CS5. -
I am pretty sure that the.mov xdcam is MAC only. Just like their HDV and apple intermediate codec.

If you are on a PC….Apple .mov XDCAM files are impossible to open on a PC. Like apple HDV and intermediate codec the codec is not available in quicktime on a pc. At least I am pretty sure.

DVD Architect that comes with Vegas is very stable and does a good job of creating and burning bluray. You can be very creative with this program and it is stable. If you want to get really deep into it, Sony offers higher end programs but they are not cheap. Adobe has Encore which gives you more options but you have to purchase Premiere to get Encore.

Yeh I guess it is just a half inch..1/2.9″ 1920×1080. Kind of wish it would have had a bigger chip in it.. I guess for $3400 you would never get 3 chips or a bigger chip.
