Does his file show the girls head twice?. I just tried to export it to prores on my mac and it worked the first time..as a single headshot at 2 seconds. All other tries it shows the first headshot as corrupt and the second works… Somehow his files don’t work properly on a Mac under snow leopard in Final Cut.

I am curious.. are you using an external drive for the prores file?
I have noticed that (sometimes) Vegas was not able to playback prores files if they are on an external drive but would play them if they came from an internal drive. Don’t know why but if it is coming from an external try moving it onto an internal drive.. If not you may have to update to the latest quicktime and maybe even reload vegas. But it will work.. -
I still use DVDA as my main program. Adobe Encore is my 2nd choice.
