I would think that your beta deck has only component/composite out and its misslabeled in this case you would need something to convert component to sdi

Actully if squeeze realy carefully you can fit into slot 1 or you can move the FW card to slot 1 and you should be ok-Kaspar

No point capturing 10bit off HDCam (its only 8bit format)

just use clipProperties->motion->distort -33 and when you are done editing and need to master to 16×9 format then remove attributes / little workaraound

There are no 16:9 preset just open clip properties and tick 16:9 and youre done

You should be able to work in 60p at least there is a control preset for that

None codec is apple 8 bit RGB codec – it is not binary compatibile with BMD codec’s so your computer will do a conversion – but only as much you can fit into ram after that it drpos frame
You should use blackmagic RGB codec for RGB 10bit captures other than that you should be OK
