    Can’t get 4×3 seq. to 16×9 in FCP

    I working in Blackmagic 10-bit uncompressed and I need to provide a 16×9 anamorphic Digibeta output of a 4×3 project for European TV, and something is weird, I’m not seeing any 16×9 sequence settings. Maybe I’m too tired to see them, or maybe they went missing??? Anyone have an idea.

    There are no 16:9 preset just open clip properties and tick 16:9 and youre done

    Thanks Kaspar, but it appears this only works on clips, not on nested sequences. Does that seem right to you???

    Hi David,

    Have you tried setting each of the sequences to 16:9 and seeing if that works? That would be easier than changing the aspect ratio of every individual clip.
