it will do 720p just 60fps only @ 23.98 the stream out of the camera will be 60i (yes I know its perverse) it 60fps steram with 3:2:3:2 pulldown
if ya figure a way to remove the pulldown you should end up with 24fps – but then you don’t have anything to montor your timeline with.
I am testing this camera with FCP as we speak 😉

this will not work – use the builtin(deck) upconvertor to get 1080

decklink pro HD has analog video output – so you should need any converter

make sure you have the right frame rate output seleced in FCP

you have to disconnet the PCIe cable then turn on your mac and connet the USB
just bit trickyoh, but read the manual – it usually is pretty descriptive 😉
still havent tested the the downconversion my self – been too busy

you should use the multibridge application not control panel to setup for converter usage

for DVCPro you need about 12MB/s FW 400 is even ok

it seems the problem is in the pixel format that BMD uses for 10 bit – DV10. sheer dosent support this format.
At least I think this is the problem, can somebody confirm or deny this?-Kaspar

Dual channel in is ONLY for RGB, so when you have YUV signal then it is channel A only whne its RGB HD its channel A+B
