DVC Pro HD Card wont update
Am I missing something? Just opened up a dvcprohd sequence, got the Card set to downconvert to SD but my monitor wont play – it only shows the still frame. This is the first time ive tried this so Im sure I ve got something set wrong. The Monitor is Composite connected to a multibridge and my card is a decklink proHD (SDI to Multibridge)

make sure you have the right frame rate output seleced in FCP

Hi Sean,
What is the framerate of your DVCPRO HD clip. Note that if you’re working in 720p, we only down convert from 59.94 to NTSC.
If your footage is in HD 1080, we down convert 1080i23.98 and 59.94 to NTSC, 1080i50 or 1080PsF25 to PAL.

its 1080 50i – I want to monitor in SD vis the BND out on the HD pro card. This is connected to a Multibridge box which is connected to a Monitor Via component (the Monitor is a way away from the G5) I’m Running FCP 5.04 and the latest ver tiger and BMD Drivers. I believe the card will doenconvert thrrough the SDI outputs as well as the monitor outputs.
